FLAMENCO
Among all the treasures of Andalusia, Granada stands out for its charm, its music and poetry, its monumental art and its ancestral culture, a mixture of Eastern and Western civilisations. Capital of the Nasrid Kingdom and dominated by the Alhambra, one of the most fascinating monuments in the world, it is also the birthplace of our most international art form, flamenco, declared Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
CUEVA
Located in the Albaycín neighbourhood, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site The location of the cave is unbeatable, within the Albaycín neighbourhood, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and just five minutes from Granada’s Gran Vía, the city centre. In the surrounding area, you can find buildings from the former Muslim occupation, such as the Arco Elvira archway and the Dalahorra palace.
This century-old cave in the heart of the Albaycin is the largest cave in the world dedicated to flamenco shows. It features elegant décor and lighting that highlight the excavated construction and majesty of the venue, which, according to legend, was used for religious worship. which explains its cruciform shape that divides the cave into three rooms facing a stage, which is raised one metre above the floor, allowing perfect visibility for customers from all points of the cave.
