- Discover the history of Seville and the Guadalquivir River with us by kayak, a different way to get to know the city with our refreshing and healthy excursion.
Type of activity:
Description
We offer you the chance to paddle aboard one of our double or single kayaks while taking in the most beautiful views of Seville, accompanied by our specialist instructor who will be on hand to help you with anything you need at any time.
The route will start at our office in the centre of Seville, where you should be prepared with suitable clothing and footwear, wearing comfortable and cool clothes, assuming that you will most likely get wet. It is also a good idea to bring a towel and a change of clothes for the end of the activity. Do not worry about your belongings, as they can be kept safe while you enjoy yourself with our staff at the facilities.
Once you are ready, the instructor will give you some basic instructions on how to handle the kayaks. You will learn how to put the paddle in the water, how to stop, how to turn to both sides and, of course, how to move forwards and backwards. Don’t worry if you have never been in a kayak before, as these are beginner kayaks that are almost impossible to capsize and very easy to handle.
Once you are in the water, the instructor will guide you along the river so that you can enjoy the views and learn about the different buildings and bridges that you will see during the tour. Starting from the Triana neighbourhood and including the areas of the former EXPO ’92, the El Arenal neighbourhood and the María Luisa Park area.
Includes: Professional guide, guided tour of the Guadalquivir River, kayak, paddles and life jacket. You can use our facilities to change your clothes.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen and water! A good cap is also recommended.
