4×4 excursion through Granada Geopark – Central Sector

What will we do?

Discover the badlands and most unique areas of the Granada Geopark in a 4×4, travel back in time in a movie-like setting, and understand how the sea gave way to rivers and lakes where saber-toothed tigers and the large mammals of the time fed.

The tour follows the course of the Rambla Becerra with its unique views of the Fardes River Valley until we reach the Alicún Spa. Once there, we will visit the magical Toril irrigation channel on a 45-minute walk that will transport us to a flint market from 10,000 years ago.

Lunch time! A picnic lunch will be provided, with special attention paid to our customers’ preferences and needs, featuring locally sourced products and PGI wines from wineries in the Altiplano and Sierra Nevada.

Coffee break where we can use the restrooms in Gorafe.

We will continue to the Gorafe Desert and the heart of the Geopark, in the Coloraos Desert.

Finally, we will return to our accommodation for a well-deserved rest, as this tourist experience involves 130 kilometers off-road.
